Cancun Bound

We haven’t gone on a family vacation since November 2009.   I just realized that, yesterday.  I knew it had been a while, but didn’t realize it was THAT long.  My diagnosis was in February 2010, so we missed that whole year because of treatments and surgeries.  Tomorrow we leave for Cancun!  I. CAN. NOT. WAIT.

The 10 day forecast for Cancun is 85-87 degrees every day.  It says partly cloudy, but in my mind, that just means it’s not going to rain.
The 10 day forecast in NJ is cold, rainy and blustery.  Kind of how it’s been for the last 3 or 4 months.  I am so glad we’re not going to be here.
I will NOT be bringing my laptop and am officially closing up shop as of today, so you won’t hear from me again until we get back, but I promise to post pictures on my return.  Stay dry, if you’re here in NJ.  If you’re also lucky enough to be taking a Spring break vacation, enjoy yourselves.

Hi, Claudia–have a wonderful trip! Enjoy. I’m in Roanoke, VA now–was supposed to meet Eric (flying down from Boston today) and we’re heading over to see RC, who isn’t doing too well. ;((

Anyway, because of the creepy weather, Eric’s flight was rerouted. So guess where he was rerouted to? You guessed it–Raleigh, where I just came from! Now, they won’t fly him, so he’s going to have to take a bus with the whole group to Roanoke again. Sigh…

Hope you all have a great trip!

    Claudia,
Please say hello to the sun and encourage her to visit us here in the Northeast soon! Don’t forget the sunscreen and Pina Coladas!
    Enjoy!
